History and Particulars
F2M Pecans has been owned and operated by the Cothern family since 1997 and is located in the Rio Grande Mesilla Valley in Las Cruces, NM.
The name F2M was conceived by the term "Farm to Market". This concept means that our pecans are not stored in a warehouse. We ship directly to the consumer guaranteeing the freshness of our product.
Throughout the growing year various nutrients and fertilizers are introduced to the trees to boost their production of healthy and nutritious nuts. Such nutrients and fertilizers include zinc to increase leaf size to boost the absorption of sunlight. Zinc is introduced to the trees in the form of a fog spray.
Other nutrients include potash, nitrogen and sulfur.
Harvest time is between February and March depending on weather and harvest equipment availability. The trees are first shaken.Comments and Reviews
- My wife, Angela and I have eaten the F2M Pecans fresh and frozen and they are always delicious, full of flavor. Everyone that we have shared the pecans with also share the same sentiment we do. The best pecans are fresh from the farm pecans, and the only place I know to get fresh pecans in the Living Network is from F2M pecans and the Cothern family. Thanks David. We love your Pecans! Scott Hostetter, HCLH.
No dissapointments ... F2M pecans are the best! The soil and climate in Mesilla Valley produces superior tasting Pecans that are my family's favorite. We have been dependant on friends to purchase and ship pecans to us after moving from the Mesilla Valley 15 years ago. Going through 30lbs of the rich, nutrient dense F2M pecans convinced us that they are the best! The opportunity to obtain high quality, fresh Pecans direct from F2M through the Living Network is awesome!!! Thank You Cothern Family!!!

I also have tried the pecans from David's Family trees. They are very good. I love them! I also let another person try them. That person had been eating some from the store and said the ones I had were much better. Said they were fresher and tasted sweeter. Jack Gates
